27th March : Project Group gathering

Jian Way arrived at Xin Yuan's house at 12pm

We updated the powerpoint, with the feedback from the project mentor and the group leader, and we searched for further mistakes in the powerpoint, did further background research on the fungi growing, and found out some new, interesting things. We found out that there were many different types of bacteria on the toothbrush and because of this, we need to kill off most of the bacteria. that is what our product will do.

20th March : Project Gathering

Xin Yuan arrived at Jian Way's house at 11.30 AM

By using the draft from the first meeting, we further improved our slides and did more background research, searching for what types of bacteria grew on toothbrushes and why they grew there. We also took some pictures of the toothbrushes that had fungi growing on them. We added more information about it from there. We sent the second draft to our project draft to our project mentor and group leader, and awaited feedback.

3rd march- confirmation on the powerpoint

Today,the two members of the group who are in BSC communicated with the two others who are in Singapore via MSN. We discussed and completed the 1st draft of the powerpoint and the next day, the two members in Singapore showed our mentor the powerpoint. He gave us some comments including how to improveo ur product and the slides. We looked through them and added accordingly to the powerpoint.

27th-28th feb- 2nd meeting

27th Feb, we met up for the 2nd time. Two of the group members, Han Long and Zhi Wei were going to Beijing Satellite Campus, hence we decided to meet up for the final time before the two left. We then finalised on our project title and started on it. On 28th feb, the other two members, Xin Yuan and Jian Way went to meet up with our mentor to show him our finalised idea and update him on what we have been doing.

20th feb-1st Meeting

Today, we came up with several ideas and shortlisted them. Some of the ideas we had were not feasible or they had already been invented. On the same day, we also sent a letter to our current mentor, Dr Chew, to request him to be our mentor in our project. In the later part of the day, our request was accepted.
